Statement of Faith
The Divine Authority and Absolute Inspiration of the Old and New
Testament Scripture.
The Unity
and Trinity of the Godhead revealed as Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. The Perfect Deity and Humanity of the Lord Jesus
Christ, His Virgin Birth and bodily Resurrection. The Fall
of Man and his consequent depravity, and the necessity of
the New Birth, and Salvation only through Christ.
The
Atonement through the substitutionary Life, Death, and
Resurrection of Christ.
The
Person of the Holy Spirit,
His work of
regeneration, indwelling, and sanctification of the
believer.
The Holy
Spirit's present-day work
in the Church empowering and distributing His enabling gifts
to the members individually, just as He chooses.
The Holy
Christian Church.
The identity of
the Body of Christ on the earth is primarily perceived
through the Local Church. We strongly confess the Local
Church to be sovereign and autonomous. At the same time, we
reject sectarianism and divisiveness as great evils.
The
Priesthood of the Believer.
That is
to say all people born of God have equal status before, and
direct access to, their Lord.
The
Spiritual Unity of all who are Born of God.
"For as the body
is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that
one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For
in one Spirit we were all baptised into one body, whether we
be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have
been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not
one member, but many." 1 Corinthians 12: 12-14
The
Personal and visible Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Return
of Christ to the earth on the Mount of Olives and the
setting up of the Millennial (1,000 year) Kingdom with
Jerusalem as its capital.
The
physical and spiritual restoration of the Jews in the land
of Israel
The physical
and spiritual restoration of the Jews in the land of Israel
at the end of the age in fulfilment of the Abrahamic
Covenant and the Old and New Testament prophecies and
scriptures.
The Final
Judgement of the living and the dead by Christ.
The Everlasting
punishment of the wicked and the unrepentant.
